Bioinformatics - Hidden Markov Models ( HMMs )

Are you working with genomic or amino data that is difficult to characterize, or would you simply like the best analysis possible using state-of –the-art protein modeling? The TLFAMs databases are a set of protein family HMM databases that are specific to certain classes of organisms. This method has been shown to provide excellent results when analyzing new genomes.

I am the author of the TLFAMs databases, and the primary author of the TLFAM paper in the ‘Omics’ journal. I can show you how these models will drastically improve your annotation. Don't get stuck in the same old BLAST rut- there is more to Bioinformatics than that!
